Nestled at the highest point of Santorini’s spectacular caldera cliffs, viewing the endless Aegean blue and its seductive sunsets, Le Ciel creates the idyllic setting for your wedding, party or the special events of your life. Spacious open-air terraces and elegant indoor areas set the scene — a promise of elegance, romance and memorable moments.

Dinner is served in the gorgeous open-air, full-caldera-view reception area — and if the Greek summer evening is too warm, the reception area is fully air-conditioned: Le Ciel is the only caldera venue with this hot-summer-night indoor option. For party time the large reception-area windows are closed, keeping the caldera view in a fully air-conditioned space without disturbing the other caldera guests.

A truly unique venue: an in-house team of culinary experts, spearheaded by the Executive Chef, creates a succulent selection of modern Greek cuisine using contemporary cooking techniques and the freshest local ingredients. The whole team is a blend of more than 45 experienced professionals, including an in-house DJ and security — with high standards of service and an eye for detail.

Good to know

• ◆Capacity: ceremony — 80 seated or 120 standing guests; reception — up to 120 seated guests.
• ◆High season (May 20 – September 30): minimum 20 guests, otherwise €190 applies for each missing guest; kids under 10 are not counted towards the minimum.
• ◆Open-bar drink packages are mandatory for all adult guests; all kids & teens (2–18) take the Kids’ & Teens’ Soft Drinks package; infants (0–2) are free of charge.
• ◆Sit-down served menus are available for up to 70 guests (max 5 different menus); larger parties are buffet-only. Dinner is served from 18:00 onwards.
• ◆The open bar shuts and music must fully stop at 23:45 by law; the venue closes strictly at 24:00.
• ◆The venue provides an experienced professional in-house DJ — visitor DJs are prohibited.
• ◆The venue does not provide transportation; arranging guest transfers is mandatory — without one the event finishes 45 minutes earlier.
• ◆The food & drinks order must be placed and prepaid in full 60 days before the wedding date; amounts paid towards food & drinks are non-refundable.
• ◆Deposits: 50% to confirm the reservation and the remaining 50% 365 days before the wedding date; all payments made are non-refundable.
• ◆Guests may not bring any outside food or beverages; the wedding cake and treats may be outsourced from trusted local vendors only, with a legal sales receipt.
• ◆Paper/glitter confetti, rice, gold dust and sky lanterns are prohibited; only fresh white petals are allowed, and ground fireworks & hand-held sparklers require prior agreement.
• ◆Payments are accepted via bank transfer only — credit cards are not accepted.
• ◆Hiring a professional wedding planner is mandatory for table decorations, flower arrangements, the wedding cake, entertainers and legal paperwork.
